TABATA TUESDAY!

“Come on, you love Tabata” said Sven… we grumble!

20 seconds of work, 10 seconds to recover… which translates to hurry up and get in position for the next 20 seconds to start again, then if you have time left… breathe. Repeat 8 times, rest for 1 minute and start a new exercise. There were 4 exercises,  kettle bell high pulls, TRX rows, kettle bell push presses, TRX chest presses. By the end, our upper body felt like mush. It wasn’t a sweaty, sucking wind, workout yesterday, but it was intense. But our workout didn’t end there did it? No… we cannot neglect our lower body. For the finisher, lets do squats and lunges, then do the same but hold the positions… tabata style… so we can ‘feel the burn’! Ok so now the ENTIRE body feels like mush.

Did I mention the finisher was entitled ‘sexy legs’?… most certainly the second we walked out of class we were all sporting sexy legs. How cool is that to walk in with average legs and walk out with sexy legs?! NICE!  … oh wait, there’s a little disclaimer… “must continue to attend Bootcamp to maintain” So, I’ll see you tomorrow… because now that I have these sexy legs, I’m not giving them up :)
